    • Blade is triangular with straight to incurvate edges. Serrated edges are common and heavily reworked blades occasionally occur.
    • Bases are deeply notched. Stems are straight or slightly flared with shoulders generally at right angles to stem.
    • Size: Length = 16 mm - 36 mm (average 26mm), Width = 18 mm - 26 mm (average 21 mm), Thickness = 3 mm - 7 mm (average 5mm).

    • Ohio and Tennessee River basins, north to the Great Lakes and east to the Atlantic coast.
