    • Corner-notches are small, narrow and U-shaped. Located precisely in corner such that the bottom of notch formed projecting barbs.
    • Size: Length = 28 mm - 60 mm (average 35mm), Width = 15 mm - 25 mm (average 20 mm), Thickness averages 8 mm.

    • Hardaway site in North Carolina
    • Widely in eastern US. More common than Hardaway points.

    • Major: Argillite, novaculite (“Carolina Slate”)
